RETURNS & REFUNDS

We hope you love your AWA ATELIER silk scarf. Each piece is created with care and should be treated as a delicate luxury item.

14-Day Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer entitled to a statutory right of withdrawal under applicable law, you may notify us that you wish to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please email us at awaateliersilk@gmail.com with a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from your purchase.

After notifying us, the item must be sent back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you informed us of your decision to withdraw.

Condition of Returned Items

You may inspect the scarf as you would in a shop. Please handle silk with particular care.

Returned scarves should be unworn, unused, clean and undamaged, with their original tags and packaging where possible.

You are responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the product. This may include, for example, stains, make-up, perfume or other odours, pulls, snags or damage to the silk.

Return Shipping

The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the item, except where the product is faulty, damaged on arrival, incorrect, or where applicable law provides otherwise.

We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service. Please contact us before returning your order so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions and address.

Refunds

We will refund payments due under applicable law, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option, within 14 days of being informed of your decision to withdraw.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or you have provided evidence that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.

Additional delivery costs resulting from choosing a delivery method more expensive than our standard delivery option are not refundable.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If your scarf is damaged, defective or you have received the wrong item, please contact us as soon as possible at awaateliersilk@gmail.com, preferably with photographs, so that we can resolve the issue.

Personalised Items

Custom-made or clearly personalised items may be excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal where permitted by applicable law. This does not affect your statutory rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods.
